As a workshop presenter, you will need to keep in mind the diversity of the participants and provide presentations that speak to volunteer resource managers, program managers, researchers or policy makers or to all the above.
The following formats may be selected:
- Workshop: a session that is presented in a hands-on interactive style. Could involve one or more presenters. Can be 1.25 or 2.5 hours in length.
- Panel Discussion: a session that includes two-five presenters on a topic; slightly less participatory, but would include time for questions and answers from the audience. Can be 1.25 or 2.5 hours in length.
- Round Table: a 45-minute structured session that addresses a specific topic. Presenters will provide 15 minutes of content on the topic and facilitate a brief discussion with groups of 8-10 participants.
