Good News!  We are having a silent auction in conjunction with the Colorado Conference on Volunteerism and Service Learning in 2008. This next year’s Conference will be held at Two Rivers Convention Center in Grand Junction, Colorado, April 22-24, 2008.

We urge you to become involved and support this auction, by donating “top-selling” items such as a two night lodging package, gift baskets, tickets to area attractions, souvenirs, wine, ski lift tickets, unique arts and crafts, advertisements, jewelry and airline tickets… to name just a few!

This auction will help to promote volunteerism throughout our cities and states through the 250-350 professional managers of volunteers at the conference. In addition the proceeds will go toward the Western Slope Directors of Volunteers in Agencies (DOVIA) organization to fund training and conference scholarships.  We encourage your participation, and ask that you create a distinctive gift to impress the attendees.

If you would like to donate an item, please fill out the attached form and return it to me at: dovia_auction@yahoo.com or fax 970-243-3758. All donation forms must be returned by Friday, March 28, 2008.    All items should be sent to me at 419 Pisces, Fruita, Colorado 81521, to be received no later than Friday, April 11, 2008.   If you plan to donate a large gift basket or item, you will be able to bring it to the Two Rivers Convention Center on Tuesday, April 22 between 10:00 a.m. and Noon.  Finally, please indicate any restrictions on the donation form, i.e., dates the item is valid, blackout dates, etc.
